    For our mine and camp with approximately 40 personnel, Lumina Sustainable Materials A/S is looking for a practical and responsible allround employee who enjoys a wide variety of tasks and is willing to step in where needed. You will become an important part of the daily site operations and report directly to the Site Manager.

    Responsibilities

    The work is varied and includes, among other tasks:

    • General practical tasks in the camp and on site

    • Minor repair and maintenance work

    • Driving water and diesel using a truck

    • Waste transport and waste handling

    • Assisting with warehouse tasks and internal transport of goods and materials

    • Providing practical support to other site functions

    • Ensuring order, maintenance, and operation of shared facilities

    We expect that you

    • Hold a valid truck driver’s license (Category C) – this is a requirement

    • Are practically minded and able to work independently

    • Preferably have experience as a handyman, carpenter, service technician, or similar

    • Thrive with varied tasks throughout the workday

    Working Conditions

  • Lumina Sustainable Materials A/S is seeking an engaged and proactive Pit Supervisor for our mine operation. You will be responsible for the daily operation of the quarry, supervision of employees, and coordination of production and machinery. The position is central to daily operations, and you will play an important role in ensuring safe, stable, and efficient production.

    As Pit Supervisor, you will work closely with the management team and actively participate in production planning and follow-up. You are also expected to take part in practical operations when required.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Daily management and planning of operations and production for approximately 10–14 employees

    • Leadership and motivation of employees and machine operators

    • Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements

    • Coordination of machinery, maintenance, and repairs

    • Production follow-up, quality assurance, and optimization of workflows

    • Cooperation with management and participation in meetings related to production and operations

    • Participation in practical operations when needed

    We expect that you

    • Have experience as a pit supervisor, operations manager, or in a similar role

    • Have experience from mining, quarrying, contracting, or gravel pit operations

  • Would you like to work with operation and maintenance of a processing plant in one of Greenland’s most unique working environments?

    Lumina Sustainable Materials A/S is seeking Process Technicians for our anorthosite mine at White Mountain / Qaqortorsuaq in Kangerlussuaq. You will become part of the team responsible for ensuring stable operations through troubleshooting, repairs, and planned maintenance of the processing plant.

    We are approximately 30 employees on site and work closely together across disciplines. You will report to the Process Manager and play a central role in keeping the plant running efficiently.

    Your responsibilities

    • Maintenance and repair of process and production equipment

    • Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns

    • Planned maintenance and preparation of plant equipment

    • Work on crushing equipment, screens, conveyor belts, bucket elevators, extraction systems, and loading equipment

    • Cooperation with the operations team to ensure stable and safe production

    Your background

    • Qualified welder, electrician, mechanic, or similar technical trade

    • Experience with maintenance of production or processing plants is an advantage

    • Valid driver’s license (Category B)

    • Safety-conscious, independent, and a good team player

  • Lumina Sustainable Materials A/S is seeking an experienced and independent Crusher Operator for the operation of our crushing and screening plant. You will become a central part of the production team and be responsible for operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the plant under demanding conditions, including work in an Arctic climate.

    The position requires the ability to work independently and take responsibility for stable operations while maintaining close cooperation with the foreman, engineer, and other operations personnel.

    Your responsibilities

    • Daily operation and monitoring of jaw crusher(s), cone crusher(s), and screening plant

    • Adjustment and optimization of the plant to achieve correct product gradation and capacity

    • Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and hydraulic components

    • Ongoing maintenance and lubrication of equipment

    • Cooperation with foreman, engineer, and operations personnel

    • Compliance with applicable safety and occupational health regulations

    • Documentation and reporting of operations and breakdowns

    We expect that you

    • Have solid experience with large jaw crushers, cone crushers, and screening plants

    We are currently looking for

    Process Operators

    As a process operator, you will be one of three people responsible for the processing plant itself. Your work will involve monitoring operations, responding to faults, and ensuring that production runs safely and reliably. This is hands-on work, where a broom and shovel are used just as often as tools and measuring instruments.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Supervision and physical work in the processing plant

    • Maintenance and replacement of items such as screen meshes and rollers

    • Assisting with ship loading

    • Troubleshooting and responding to breakdowns

    You will report to the Process Manager and work in shifts, as the plant operates 24/7.

    It is an advantage if you

    • Have experience from a quarry, factory, or other production environment

    • Are trained as a marine mechanic, welder, or electrician

    • Are practically skilled — able to weld and carry out repairs

    • Are physically robust and enjoy hands-on work

    • Are reliable, independent, and ready to take responsibility

    • Loading ore in the pit using a 35-tonne excavator

    • Operating dump trucks

    • Snow clearing and road maintenance using a wheel loader

    • Physical outdoor work when required

    We are currently looking for

    Laboratory Technician

    In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out various analyses and laboratory tasks related to feldspar, including particle size distribution and XRF analyses. You will work according to established laboratory procedures and contribute to operational reliability and data quality in both production and exploration activities.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Performing laboratory analyses, including particle size, moisture content, and XRF

    • Operating laboratory equipment such as crushers, sieves, mills, and analytical instruments

    • Sample preparation: drying, weighing, homogenising, grinding, and labelling

    • Sampling from production as well as receiving and registering samples

    • Entering and structuring data in Excel or laboratory software

    We expect that you:

    • Have completed upper secondary education or equivalent

    • Have at least two years of experience from a laboratory or production environment (an advantage)

    • Work in a structured manner and follow procedures with precision

    • Have good IT skills, particularly in Excel and Word

    At the mine, you work four weeks at a time followed by four weeks off. You will stay comfortably in a single room with a private bathroom, and all meals are prepared by professional chefs in the camp canteen. We provide all transportation to and from your hometown.

    As an electrician, you will play an important role in our team and take part in repairs and planned maintenance of the processing and crushing plant.

    Your responsibilities may include:
